Thanks for checking out Colyton Scout Group's online home. The site has been created for our members, parents, and anyone else wanting to find out more about our scouting activities and events.

Colyton is a small town situated close to the East Devon coast, not far from the Dorset and Somerset borders. The surrounding countryside of green fields and rolling hills is designated an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Both Dartmoor and Exmoor are within easy reach, as is the 'Jurassic' World Heritage coastline.

The town is steeped in history and was famous in bygone years for being the most rebellious in Devon. Perhaps life is slightly more sedate now (?).

The group itself takes advantage of the area by holding as many activities as possible out of doors. Hiking, camping and wide games form an integral part of the Cub and Scout programmes. All sections are pleased to welcome both boys and girls.
